Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by ufotable.
The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.
Starting in February 2023, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour kicked off, followed by the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc airing in April. In February 2024, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- was released in movie theaters worldwide featuring a special theatrical screening in over 140 countries and regions – surpassing the previous year’s release. With the TV adaptation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc confirmed to begin airing in May, a new chapter is about to unfold.

I can c why Iguro is so protective of Mitsuri. She’s eye candy to everyone in the corps and people want to be close with her and Iguro wants to maintain a close relationship with her. Plus, she’s like the first major girl he’s ever comfortable with, given his sad backstory involving how he developed a hatred for women in his family.

I'm gonna be honest Obania clearly doesn't know mitsuri as well as he thinks. like sure he may get jealous of tanjiro because mitsuri seems to act like shes very close with him yet he seems to have forgotten that she acts that way around literally everyone she ever meets shes just like that in genral like he should know that she would act just as close with him if he spent time with her and if he does know her at all then he should know that if he asked her out she would easily say yes, she did after all want to marry a hashira. Plus if mitsuri ever knew of how he was treating people just for talking to her I don't think thats gonna end well for him and he should also know that if he actually understands her at all. so he clearly just likes her for her looks but doesn't really know much of her general personality.
