Episode Summary：

📖 Synopsis：
Due to a God’s mistake, Takumi Kayano lost his life and was reincarnated. He received various skills and was sent to another world, where he found himself in the middle of a dangerous forest teeming with monsters.
In that forest, Takumi found a boy and a girl who appeared to be twins. He named them Alan and Elena and took them into his custody. Despite being shocked at how easily the twins beat the monsters with their fighting skills, Takumi made it to town and to make a living he registered to the adventurer’s guild.
Now his life of leisurely living as an adventurer while looking after Alan and Elena growing up had just begun.

Headcanon: The "retainer of the Water God" that Syl and Millena are talking about is actually Allen and Elena's once human mother. When she died of childbirth, her husband, the Water God, gathered her soul and reisurrected her as a higher being. However, this is a very grave crime for the natural order of things, as gods must love equally, and the Water God favored someone way too much than what he's supposed to (even Syl and the other gods are pushing it when they gave the MC their blessings to help him take care of their niece and nephew). The caused the Water God to fall into a deep slumber, and right now, the retainer and the twin's mother is acting on behalf of her beloved while the other gods try to find a way to wake him up. Syl tells the "went out for an adventure" story about the Water God as a cover so that the MC will not dig further and stumble upon the truth, which may be a bit too heavy for the young kids.
