Episode Summary：
After conquering the Ruins of the King’s Tomb, twelve participants including Frieren and Fern passed the second exam. Frieren then visited a certain place to fix Fern’s staff that was blown to bits. On the last exam, the creator of the Continental Magic Association, Serie, decides who passes or not.

📖Synopsis：
After ten long years of adventuring, the mage Frieren alongside the hero Himmel and his party members has defeated the Demon Lord and brought peace to the world.
As an elf that can live for more than a thousand years, Frieren went to travel alone, with a promise that she would reunite with Himmel and the others later on.
50 years later, Frieren visited Himmel. However, in contrast to her being no different from how she was 50 years ago, Himmel has aged a lot and doesn’t have long to live.
A short time later, after seeing Himmel passes away before her own eyes, she finally realizes that she has never made any effort to “understand people.”
With that regret, Frieren heads on a journey to “understand people.”
On her journey, she will meet with all kinds of people and deal with all kinds of things.

That mana Serie projects out is actually her SUPRESSED MANA… the INSTABILITY Fern sees is the INSTABILITY of the spell Serie is using to SUPPRESS her mana which means the spell is not actually that perfect nor is it meant to SUPRESS mana of such magnitude…
In other words, the spell Serie is using might HAVE never been meant to SUPPRESS that much mana in the first place which is hence why, the INSTABILITY which Fern saw.
Fern is well exposed to mana suppression due to being used to her master, Frieren, using it day after day. Hence she will see such instability in that spellwork.
