📖Synopsis：

Even though I know that the prince's character is based on the way he was raised,but the way he keeps on treating grace as useful commodity instead of a person irks me. You'd think that after spending time with her as a fellow student council member and her fiancee,and seeing her grow as a person would make him see her more as a person,but nope all he sees is how useful she could be. According to his logic,in the past he wasn't sure about marrying her because she wasn't as useful in his supposed head chart,then why should she marry him now? Grace has a lot more potential than all of them combined(the otome men),so couldn't she just marry a more useful man(bc the only thing the prince had going for him is his position). I really hope she doesn't end up with him even after the old man returns to his world. She deserves someone who doesn't constantly see her as a talent to exploit,but rather a person. Sorry for the rant but it kept bothering me since episode 1 🙂
Maybe I'm a pessimist, but I'm a little disappointed in Grace's father. Sure, he's an insecure man and always busy, but he keeps living in the past— as shown by the souvenir he brought for Grace—instead of seeing her for who she is now. I keep referring to the original storyline, where Grace turns into a villainess due to her strict nature (which was triggered by the rigorous teachings she endured as a child). I wonder where her dad was during this time. Clearly, he doesn't have much time to spend with her, and that's fine, but even when he does, I don't see him paying attention to how his child is being treated or how she is behaving. Or maybe it's considered noble to be indifferent or something—I don’t know. But yeah, I don't like her parents because they were the primary reason for OG Grace’s fate. Just my personal opinion.
