The character development of Satoshi and ho felt the same with Houtaro changing
the way i keep coming back here whenever i think about satoshi…he's such a well written character
The robot battle game in the arcade… I played it when i was a child
"maturity hits you hard" after one scene(satoshi and oreki playing robot versus game) and making me realize
satoshi then complaining and do nothing,reasoning for defending yourself and not accepting lose.
satoshi now just smile whatever happen and accpt everything.

in the last scene explaining why he do that stealing chocolate.
he is not sociopath nor psychopath.
he is just scared and jelous at the same time and acting cool. a normal feeling for a middle schooler/high schooler.
Sathoshi — the most humanly character in the series — he is the reflection of a real life high schooler who have his confusions and doubts– he is not a perfect human, just like everyone else he have his flaws– but he is trying his best to grow up and figure out his answer
At the end confessing that he does realise the consequence of his doings and calling Mayaka to tell her his honest feelings and concerns

2nd time watching hyouka and i still dont know why ppl call satoshi dark or a “sociopath.” Tbh, as simple as it is i think satoshi just didnt want to hold himself back from growing. He kept mentioning throughout the anime that he was the type to learn all sort of things rather than focusing in one. Kinda like the jack of all trades which is the contrast of “master of one.” Also, the part where he says that a “database shouldn’t hold theories” just means he shouldnt be biased. It just seems like he applies that to his relationships as well. Instead of staying in one ground or focusing on a specific thing, he provides help by knowing almost everything. For example, notice how he has at least 3 clubs that he’s in. One of them being the student association where the MOST information is available. It tells us a lot about his personality. So rather than dark, satoshi is just really principled. Liking someone to the point that he knows that if he accepts mayaka’s feelings it will turn to an obssession and will most likely bend what he believes in. He wont be able to learn anything else because his entire attention has to be on a specific person.

I think we all knew who the culprit was, everyone just stood around until the end to only find out why? The reason behind Satoshi's actions, the reason being too dark, mature, crazy and somewhat terrifying in the real sense.
Also, Oreki's reaction on finding the chocolate given by her sister bitter was lit 🔥

This anime surely got my brain working…. can't believe i figured out it was Satoshi ✨✨
I watch this anime when I was 15 years old just literally focus the romance part of Oreki and Chitanda not realizing their character and now I'm 18 years of age rewatching this anime I now know what is really happening and aware of their characters and behaviors, not just Oreki and Chitanda but also Satoshi and Mayaka.
P.S.: crazy how i was immature back then than my thinking right now, truly a development from adolescence to early adulthood.

1. Oreki was taking things seriously than he used to and he wasn't feeling forced to do something, he cared for his friends feelings.
2. Satoshi was maturing, he matured pretty much than first episode.
3. Chitanda was acting on nerves and being dumb

Most of the time oreki's friends are annoying including chitande too…..🤧 And this time too ..oreki just carrying their selfish deeds or wishes literally…what they did for oreki…( Nothing)
Now i am scared of satoshi…scared of human emotions…what goes on inside our minds and heart is such a mystery that even being a human feels scary now
When I had friends who would do this to me like how Chii-chan became to be the "fault" for everything…. I would apologize and all of my past friends would say "yes, its you're fault… absolutely your fault" and that's one of the things which made me feel less interested in getting friends anymore in the future after that incident because no matter what I do for people, I would always be the one to be at fault.
But when Orike said to Chii that its not her fault and that she was only doing her best, it felt like a part of me just healed ❤
I hope Chii-chan and Orike end up together 😊 Thank you Hyouka!
