The disconnect between its depiction of friendships and battles of distinctive characters amidst the backdrop of a world of magic and its absurdist visual gags has made it a hot topic, and it is popular not only in Japan but also around the world.
The anime series saw its first cour aired in April 2023, along with several media franchise developments released, such as novelizations and a stage adaptation.
