I personally liked the movies more then the TV show as it was animated more nicely, the English dub voice acting was better, and it cut out stuff that wasn't really needed.
I totally wanna buy this box set to support the franchise!
Also I kinda don't think the Magical Girls can make all my wishes come true, lol, and I'm pretty afraid about one thing in particular in the up-coming movie but eh, I shouldn't let that cloud my excitement unless it actually happens…

I will immediately buy this on July 20th, hahah, no questions asked about that, then I can have all these movies on Blu-ray to support the franchise since the franchise is absolutely fantastic! Personally I'd have gone with the twelve episodes and Rebellion packaged together but the three movies is probably a more fitting thing for this kinda thing since it's three movies and Rebellion is considered a third movie to the other two, and it's kinda basically the same as having the twelve episodes packaged with Rebellion since the first two movies were retelling of the twelve episodes, and Rebellion was fantastic too, I re-watched it recently and it was absolutely amazing and same with the twelve episodes I re-watched recently…

As a big fan of the show this has to be one of the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. I had never seen Beginnings an Eternal before and my expectations were completely blown away. Truly amazing movies and certainly more than just simple recaps. And also Rebellion is in my opinion, one of the most beautiful animated movie ever created. I definitely recommend this box set even to those who haven’t seen the show before.
For the newcomers coming in, this is not as happy as it sounds. It’s an amazing series that gets progressively more bleak and many characters end up breaking down. The man behind Fate/Zero and Psycho-Pass made this series if it helps give you an idea.
