[ STORY ]
The tyrannical demon king “the misfit” shows the trajectory he will endeavor in this new era.
The series was originally a light novel written by Shu, starting in April 2017 on the web novel site Shosetsuka ni Naro. It was then published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA) in March 2018, becoming a hit novel that has published over 2.2 million copies up to date. The illustrations were created by Yoshinori Shizuma.
The first season of the TV animation series began broadcasting in July 2020. It offered a main character with an incomparably immense presence along with charming heroines, which were well received in Japan as well as abroad.
And now, after 2 years since the last broadcast, the misfit is coming back! The most popular arc of the original story, the Great Spirit Arc, is finally getting animated. The one that has appeared in front of Anos, who prevented the war between demons and humans, was a new “child of the god” who has come to annihilate the tyrannical demon king————.

This season was very badly made. In fact, the most disappointing anime of 2024 ( i had sooooo many hopes but 😢).They skipped a lot of scenes amd fight scenes.
Thr fight between shin and arcana (in episode 6) was barely of 10 seconds long. If they had made that fight according to novel, it would have been 3-4 minutes long.
They completely changed scenes in episode 11. There was an amazing fight between Selis Voldigoad vs shin and Eldmid in novel. Selis Voldigoad almost killed both of them . He was about to release a spell which could easily turn whole Jiordal along with Shin and Eldmid to ashes but then he retreated.
Selis Voldigoad destroyed domains of 13 different gods of times (the god whom anos killed in s1). Selis Voldigoad destroyed 13 of them 😂
u can imagine how terrifying his powers r.
They cut all thse fights😢
I loved this anime every bit, unpopular opinion but i found season 2 better i loved it, is there any chance we can get a season 3?
