The power scaling through numbers was a huge turn off from later seasons tbh, it completely threw off the vibe of how much the 7ds grew after power upgrade since I watched dbz those numbers 7ds used was kinda low and disappointing. The reason why 1st season was good because we all knew meliodas is strong but no one knew how much strong he actually is but ever since that power scaling was introduced it went meh along with the animation
