Hm, think I found what's kept me from watching this. It's the expressions. Something about every characters face just feels utterly punchable, and I can't quite explain why.
The magic system in this anime is busted, if you can gaslight yourself into believing your magic can do something, then it can and will do it. Egomaniacs in this world must be a big threat
The characters in Frieren are surprisingly professional, compared to all other animes. When fighting, everyone keeps a poker face just like pros irl. No selling, no yelling attack names, gritting teeth, constipation face, sweating, or power of friendship.

The only reason Edele is a 2nd Class Mage is due to her lacking in offense magic, she's still the best at mental magic in the world.

What l like most about this anime is how wise the explain the konzepts of magic, the effects and the cause of certain effects. And how the bring the demon and human psychologic espacially in the golden town arc. We really need more animes that explaines things like that.😊
The only one in the 2000 was naruto, which explained the konzepts of Ninjutsu durning the training arcs.
